Andy Shepley

Andy joined DJA in October 2016. He has over 20 years’ experience in planning, the majority of which has been in the private sector. Over his career in the private sector, Andy has provided planning advice to a range of developers, landowners, businesses, local authorities and private clients.

Professional expertise includes: project management/lead consultant; planning appeals; co-ordination of planning application submissions; strategic site promotion through the Local Plan / Local Development Framework process; public consultation; pre-acquisition planning risk assessments; and Environmental Impact Assessment/Environmental Statement preparation and coordination. Andy has worked for a variety of clients in the development industry, but his key focus has been on projects involving residential, healthcare, elderly care, student accommodation, and education development.

Andy has assisted at a number of planning inquiries, and has directly represented clients at Examinations in Public.
