Crossways Business Park
DJA began the landscape planning and design of Crossways Business Park when it was a large sheet of reclaimed Dogger Bank sand which had been used to rehabilitate some old Thames-side Cement Works: having worked on it for 15 years, it became the largest business park in the UK. The flood retention ponds were re-designed as settings to the buildings and used to provide the irrigation water for the proposed landscape. The construction of the M25 and QEII Bridge made the site of national strategic transport importance.
