Project & Contract Management

Taking your proposal from initial design through to gaining consent would benefit from DJA's wide range of experience. This, in combination with our commercial and pragmatic approach, allows us to provide project management services for progressing diverse and complicated development from residential through to large infrastructure projects such as Energy From Waste to mineral extraction. We often act as lead consultant on projects, taking them through the challenging and ever-evolving regulatory process, including public consultation, for progression onto consent and eventual development. At the development stage, our highly-experienced landscape team can then manage the detailed landscape contract work in line with the clients’ requirements and aspirations, bringing concept through to reality.

Project Management

With the experience and expertise within the team we can provide expert management of planning applications and associated assessments and documentation. Examples of this type of work include complex large-scale multifaceted infrastructure and development projects which we have successfully managed through an increasingly complicated and challenging planning system. This can be utilising our own in-house planning team or where the client utilises other consultants that we directly manage through identification and delivery of clear defined workstreams with adherence to timelines and cost management.

Public Consultation and SCI

As part of our project management work associated with residential/commercial site promotion and application preparation/coordination, DJA also has extensive experience in undertaking pre-application public consultation.

This involves coordinating and attending public exhibitions, including the provision of exhibition materials where required, and the preparation of Statements of Community Involvement (SCI).

Landscape Contracts

DJA are highly experienced in overseeing the tenders, administration and contract management of a mixed and varied range of projects using JCLI and other forms of contract. We can undertake a project management role or form part of a larger team to ensure the work is completed to the highest standards. We have worked on many Design and Build projects and have been novated to provide services on projects in excess of £100 million.
