James Burt 

James is a Chartered Landscape Architect with over 19 years of experience in landscape practice.  He joined DJA in May 2025.

He has previously worked within multiple aspects of landscape and environmental consultancy, including as a framework consultant for the Environment Agency. 

More recently he has specialised within the energy and minerals sectors, helping to develop projects, from feasibility through to onsite implementation. He has undertaken various elements of project delivery, including Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments, scheme due diligence, quarry restoration and after use.
