Appeal success in Abberley

Appeal approval received for agricultural tool shed within the Abberley and Malvern Hills Global Geopark (M/23/01620/FUL).  Mike Joffe at DJA provided landscape and visual recommendations and an LVA to inform proposals prepared by our client Warehome. The proposals, being for an agricultural tool shed, are nestled into a field on the side of the steeply sloping side of Abberley Ridge. We successfully demonstrated that the proposal would be barely visible, appropriate for its location and of a suitable scale. The Inspector noted that the proposal takes appropriate account of the existing landscape characteristics and pattern of buildings of a similar nature, which was critical to understanding the context of this unique application.
