Dave Pitt

Dave is a Chartered Town Planner with over twenty three years’ experience specialising in minerals, waste and strategic development planning including ten years working within local government at county level in both policy and development management roles.

 Since joining David Jarvis Associates in 2008, Dave has undertaken the role of lead planner, project managing numerous major development applications, co-ordinating and preparing environmental statements, reviewing old mineral permissions (ROMPs) and running various planning appeals.

 Dave has acted as an expert witness most recently at an inquiry in relation to a road closure order, on mineral and housing issues at the examinations in public of various local plans and in relation to mineral safeguarding as a ‘Rule 6 Party’ at a planning appeal.  Dave was made a Director in 2012.
