Matt Golding

With more than 15 years’ in environmental consultancy, Matt joined David Jarvis Associates in February 2019.

Matt has extensive expertise in landscape planning including the co-ordination, project management and delivery of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments and Landscape Appraisals for multi-scale renewable energy, industrial and residential development across the UK.

Working on a collaborative, multi-disciplinary basis, Matt’s experience additionally encompasses the delivery of high-level strategic and Green Infrastructure proposals, landscape feasibility assessments, landscape auditing, the preparation of Design and Access Statements and planning compliance and rectification.  

At David Jarvis Associates Matt principally focuses on Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment with an emphasis on phased mineral related development including the delivery of forensic and robust landscape restoration, mitigation and enhancement proposals and post-extraction landscape and environmental management strategies.

Matt graduated from the University of Gloucestershire in 2005 with an MA in Landscape Architecture and from Plymouth University in 2011 with an MSc in Environmental Consultancy.
