2022 is our 40th anniversary. Established by David Jarvis in 1982, the practice has grown to 25 staff over two offices.
Our work has always been varied, and at all scales.
It spans over 3,000 projects and has taken us all over the UK, from super quarries in Scotland, to award winning mixed use developments in Cambridge, to advising Government, to major infrastructure and power schemes, and even a medal winning RHS show garden.
We have advised governments on planning strategy in the Middle East, the Caribbean and elsewhere around the world, and authored over a dozen pieces of research.
It is a source of enormous pride that we have maintained our identity, independence and self-governance throughout the last 40 years.
We have had the pleasure of working with and for some amazing clients, colleagues, friends and organisations. They have all played a part in the success of the first 40 years of DJA.
We look forward to meeting many more in the years to come.
We marked this special occasion last week at The Manor by the Lake in Cheltenham. It was a truly fantastic evening, and a great opportunity to catch up with some old, and new, friends of DJA.
David even found time to sign a few copies of his latest book.
