DJA has proven experience in high specification design in extreme climates such as Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The New British Embassy, Doha, Qatar was completed in 2008. DJA were appointed as landscape architects for the new Embassy and residential quarters. The landscape design incorporated various water management systems with the use of water and shade to control extreme temperatures and water, lighting and planting to introduce sound, movement and variation to enhance the external environment.
